Demari Martin is a combo guard/wing player for ISA Prep, which is based out of Willoughby, Ohio. Martin also previously played for Winton Woods High School out of Cincinnati, Ohio, during his first three years of high school sports.
For his senior year, Martin and his family made the business decision for him to play at ISA Prep, which is located a good distance from his home so that he could take his game to the next level. “I would say that a ton of growth has happened for me in the past year,” Martin said. “My family had to make a tough decision for me to play four hours from home, and move me from a school that I had been a varsity starter for since I was a freshman in high school.
“With that being said, I experienced a college-style daily schedule, which included individual improvement, film sessions, position and shooting workouts, strength and conditioning, as well as team sessions. The opportunity to be away from home and the maturity it took to be successful is priceless.” On the floor, the 6’5, 180-pounder can do many things, as he averaged 15 points per game, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals while averaging 20 minutes per game. In his last outing, Martin shot 63% from the three-point line on a prep school circuit.
Besides taking the year to develop himself mentally and physically for what lies ahead, Martin knows he still has to separate himself from other players in the country.
